Purchasing the sales agent package and selecting Wisconsin will provide you with national questions as well as Wisconsin-specific sales agents questions.

Minimum Requirements to Apply for the Salesperson License

  • Education: Must have completed the education within five (5) years of application for license.
    • Complete 10 academic semester hour credits at an institution of higher learning in real estate or real estate related law, OR
    • Complete the Board approved 72-hour pre-license education program for Salespersons within four years before submitting the application for licensure.
  • Honesty: License applicants must be honest and truthful. Conviction of a crime may result in the denial of a license. The failure to reveal a criminal conviction on an original license application may also result in the denial of a license.
  • Exam & Application: Applicants for a real estate license must pass the appropriate licensing examination. Applicants must submit the license application and required documentation to the DSPS before their examination scores are one (1) year old.
